An historic astronomical observatory and radio station owned by the East Devon District Council and operated by The Norman Lockyer Observatory Society. The Observatory was established in 1912 by Sir Joseph Norman Lockyer for astronomical research. Now the Observatory is operated for the benefit of science education, to promote the public awareness of science and to provide a facility where individuals and groups can participate in projects and the recreational study of science in a practical way.

Seaton Tramway is the most recent incarnation of Modern Electric Tramways Ltd, a hobby masquerading as a business that unwittingly became the real thing! Its origins can be traced to Claude Lane's Lancaster Electrical Company in Barnet, North London, which built battery electric vehicles such as milk floats. However, his passion was trams and the factory helped realise the long held ambition of constructing a 15 inch gauge tram based on ex-Darwen car 23, then running on the Llandudno & Colwyn Bay system.

Thousands attended the show seeing the parachute display followed by aerobatics and fly past by a Battle of Britain Hurricane and The Great War Display Team.The family event for charity in aid of the Childrens Hospice South West and the Royal British Legion showed around 70 vintage aircraft and 300 classic cars and dozens of stalls.Royal Navy Parachute display team.Tiger Moths.Hawker Hurricane.Jet Prevosts.
In the evening a music festival with licensed bar strictly by ticket entrance ended the day.
